PRODUCT DESIGN/STYLING

Styling of products being developed by your engineering team or whole product development from concept proposals, through development, to production supervision. We have CAD file exchange resources which allows us to constantly exchange data with clients and subcontractors using the Internet.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Organisation of schedules, resources and actions in the development of products. This returns results in the form of savings on development and production as well as in meeting deadlines and production targets. We generate full documentation and drawings together with guidelines for quality control in the production of the products we design.

COMPUTER MODELLING

3D CAD modelling using advanced CAD software. We generate CAD model files which can be readily used in CAD-CAM such as in sheet metal, machining and tool making for castings and mouldings. Our model files include all provisions for manufacture such as parting lines and draft angles. Thus, additional charges for production drafting and delays in production are minimised.

COMPUTER VISUALISATION

We generate computer images and animations for top level presentations, marketing and advertising as well as for web sites. Some of the formats we can generate are VRML images for 3D visualisation in web sites, Power point presentations and AVI Video clips with animations.

PRODUCT GRAPHICS

Graphics applied to products greatly enhance their visual appeal and provide correct ergonomic features for the use of the product. We generate graphic images and artworks for production of labels and printing. We are able to provide the images in a variety of computer file formats such as Windows metafile and Bitmaps.

PROTOTYPING

We are able to deliver evaluation models, test pieces and fully working prototypes. We generate STL files for the purpose of rapid prototyping in SLA or SLS methods. We also organise prototypes in CNC machined plastics and metal, sheet Steel, Aluminium and other metals as well as fabrications in various materials. Added to this, our file conversion software allows us to provide files such as DXF, IGES, Autocad DWG and others, depending on the file formats that each manufacturing subcontractor is able to accept. Thus, development times and costs are greatly reduced.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISION

We have contacts with several manufacturing subcontractors in Britain, China, Taiwan and other countries. We have organised the manufacture of products, for our clients, in these countries. We deal with a wide variety of materials and manufacturing methods including injection moulded plastics and rubbers, Aluminium die castings, sand castings, investment castings, sheet metal, machined plastics and metals, vacuum formed aluminium, pressed metals and many others. We source and liaise with the appropriate manufacturers for the product; this includes obtaining manufacturing costings, supervising tool manufacture, exchange of computer data and checking of production samples.
