Electronics are being built into almost everything, from clothing to sailing boats, and the technology moves fast. We keep up with new developments and work in parallel with electronics engineers, designing the mechanical side of the product while they develop the circuitry, with constant three-way communication between client, designer and engineer. Our role is to define what the electronic parts need to do for the product to perform, how they fit within its shape and design, how they are protected against damage and how they are assembled. We have substantial experience designing many types of electronic products, from concept and CAD through prototyping to organising manufacture.
